Embrace the Unknown. How to Allow Miracles to Unfold in Front of Your Eyes.
Miracles exist in the realm of the unknown and illogical.
I had a thought come to me while I was taking a shower telling me that we — as a society — need to learn to embrace the unknown. As I meditated on this reasoning, it made me realize how powerful we are when we act from a state of unpredictability.
We make plans and take actions based on our understanding and experiences. Making the same choices, expecting a better outcome. This mindset is irrational and foolish if we’re not learning anything because we want to play it safe.
Yet, we fail to accept that playing it safe doesn’t guarantee us a secure future.
Sure we can take action on what we think we know, allowing our ego to be at rest for the moment. It’s why we stick to miserable circumstances we’re familiar with, instead of following our hearts. However, this kind of living creates unnecessary stress, resentment, and regret in the end.
In the book of Proverbs, we are instructed to trust in God and not our understanding [Proverbs 3:5–6].
We don’t do this to be disobedient, but because this is what we’re taught since childhood.
The Danger of Conformity
Society — as a collective whole — adheres to a system based on competition, fear, and scarcity. Only a few people obtain success living their ideal life, by choosing to ignore popular opinion and committing to what they want to do, instead of what they are expected to do.
This thought process begins at home and in our schools.
We’re still using the old Industrial Age educational model designed to condition us to comply with ideals of a set form of emulation and conformity. Turning us into obedient cogs and unconsciously discouraging us to embrace our originality.
This system does this by teaching us what to think, instead of how to think.
Painting a phony picture of free will through religion, education, and politics. You can do anything you want to do as long as it has something to do with benefiting an institutional agenda. Using fear and lack to have you spend your life making this toxic version of capitalism last for another generation.
You’re shunned if you can’t learn the way the system wants you to learn. Rejected if you don’t fit into the norm of the social order. You’re considered to be evil if you don’t fit the mold of what the general public perceives as right or wrong.
The truth is there isn’t any scarcity, and fear resides in your head. Most cases of right and wrong are relative. Nothing more than judgments based on someone else’s views of the world.
Not your own.
All of these conditions come from a lack of awareness. A seed planted in your psyche to keep you working within a system designed to discourage you from accepting your individuality to keep you “in your place” in a misguided version of reality.
These psychological conditions are established for you to create your mental shackles. Causing excessive doubt, anxiety, unbelief, fear, distrust, closed-mindedness, and division within your perceived worldview. Decreasing the probability of unity, acceptance, and cooperation in the world.
A great example of what I’m talking about can be found in one of Aesop’s fable, “The Four Oxen and the Lion”.
A lion used to prowl about a field in which four oxen used to dwell. Many a time he tried to attack them; but whenever he came near they turned their tails to warn another, so that whichever way he approached them he was met by the horns of one of them. At last, however, they fell a-quarrelling [sic] among themselves, and each went off to pasture alone in the separate corner of the field. Then the Lion attacked them one by one and soon made an end of all four.
United we stand, divided we fall. — Aesops Fables (The Four Oxen and the Lion)
You shouldn’t conform to a system that discourages you from being who you desire to be. When you allow yourself to step out in faith by following your vision, you’ll need to find others like you.
Most people will discourage you from being yourself and keep you from what you want in life. Common logic will keep you living a common life. If lack, struggle, and unhappiness is the norm within your community, why would you want to fit in with them?
Find people who have what you want and learn from them. Surround yourself with like-minded, goal-oriented individuals and develop relationships. Commit to being a student of your game and let the rest of the world continue to conform to the status quo if they choose to.
Only You Know What Path You Should Take
Embrace the unknown and walk in faith. Follow your heart, but use your conscious awareness to listen to your intuition instead of your ego. You must step out of your comfort zone to create the life you want to live.
That’s not always possible by following what you consider logical. Let go of trying to predict and control the outcomes. Relax and enjoy the flow of life.
I don’t mean you should blindly take unreasonable risks.
On the contrary.
You must use wisdom and discover what to do to transition from a survival existence to a thriving lifestyle.
Decide who you want to be, pursue your vision, and love yourself for it.
If you want to be a writer, write and publish your work. Want to make a living as a photographer? Start taking pictures. Are you a singer, sing with all of your heart.
Don’t do it for monetary potential, do it because you love it. The money, people, and favorable situations will follow. Refuse to let anyone discourage you from being who God created you to be.
Only your higher self can direct you to where you need to go and to get you where you want to be in life. Your heart will tell you who to listen to, what books to read, and where you should go.
You allow this inner guidance to lead you by paying attention to how you feel concerning the thoughts you’re having.
Logic has its place and so does creativity. Learn how to let these two aspects of your mind work in harmony by following your heart. Only you’ll know what makes life more enjoyable and fulfilling for you.
Allow God to guide your path and trust that every circumstance is working out for your good by not judging them right or wrong. You don’t know how any situation is going to turn out in the end. Plus, you can’t control circumstances so let it go and allow life to take its course.
Live with love and gratitude in your heart every day.
Miracles exist in the realm of the unknown and illogical. Allow it by living YOUR truth with the assumption that your dream is fulfilled and watch as the flow of miracles appears in your life.
